Parker Open · Music and labels
Parker Open is a Shopify theme created by Mister Mikel for record stores, independent labels and bands selling their music and merch: a page for every artist, with their bio and full discography underneath, and a product page with format, label, edition, country and condition. It’s free if you install it yourself. And if you’d rather skip the wrestling, we set it up for you.
This may sound familiar
Most Shopify themes put a record next to a T-shirt: title, price and a photo. No band, no label, no sign of the edition a collector has been hunting for months.
Nobody buys a record. They buy the band behind it.
No bio, no discography, no “everything by them” in one place.
Format, label, year, edition, condition. What a collector looks at doesn’t fit in a generic product page.
Vinyl, CDs, T-shirts and tote bags on the same shelf. Finding anything is a matter of patience.
Languages and currencies to reach Europe and Latin America without making a mess.
In Parker, the author. Here, the artist.
Are you a label? The lead can be each artist on your roster, or the label itself if you sell several labels’ catalogs.
What Parker Open brings for music
Photo, bio and background at the top. Full discography or tour dates in a “More details” dropdown. Underneath, everything by them.
Up to five fields with whatever label you want: format, label, edition, country, condition. Plus type and year.
Vinyl, CD, cassette, merch. The catalog filters by type with no extra apps.
On every record, the rest of their discography and merch, right underneath.
High-quality downloads or digital editions are sold with Shopify apps such as Digital Downloads, alongside the records.
Adding a product or changing a price takes two minutes. On Shopify, without touching code. Two styles to choose from.
How it looks
A pop band made up for the demo. Their page tells who they are and lists their discography; underneath, the LP, the cassette and the tote bag, with format, label, edition and condition on each product page.
See Faro Sur in the demo →A singer-songwriter, also made up, with her EP on vinyl, on cassette and as a download. Physical and digital, together on her page.
See Lucía in the demo →A record store with thousands of titles. Every artist has a page and, underneath, everything in stock by them; the product page states the record’s format, label, edition, country and condition.
How to get it
The theme is the same either way. What changes is who installs it.
Write to us and we’ll send you the theme in both styles, with its guide. Upload it to your Shopify, load your catalog and start selling.
We install it and adapt it to your brand inside your Shopify store: artists, catalog, payments, shipping, languages. And we show you how to run it yourself.
