Shopify theme · Bookshops and publishers
Parker is a Shopify theme for bookshops and publishers, made by Mister Mikel: book pages with author and ISBN, author pages, two styles, and bilingual. It’s free if you install it yourself. And if you’d rather not wrestle with it, we set it up for you.
This may sound familiar
Most Shopify themes treat a book like any other product: title, price and a photo. No author, no synopsis that pulls you in, nothing of what makes someone choose a book.
You sell authors and a catalog. Your store should show it on every page.
You sell authors, but the theme gives them no room: no portrait, no bio, no "all their titles".
ISBN, edition, page count, a quote… the details a reader looks for don’t fit in a generic product page.
Languages and currencies to reach other countries without making a mess.
Correct, but soulless. A bookshop has character; its store should too.
What Parker includes
Author, ISBN, edition, page count and a featured quote. The page tells you about the book, it doesn’t just list it.
Portrait, biography and all their titles, grouped automatically. The loyal reader finds "their" author.
English and Spanish, with a language and country/currency selector for selling across borders.
Classic or contemporary, switched with one click. If you want, we fine-tune it to your brand.
Optimized images, self-hosted fonts and careful contrast. A store for everyone.
Adding a new title or changing a price takes two minutes. On Shopify, without touching code.
Two styles, one theme
Cream, terracotta and Bodoni type. Warm, literary, with the soul of a neighborhood bookshop.
White, blue and gold with Jost type. Clean and current, for more contemporary catalogs.
Where it comes from
Ya lo dijo Casimiro Parker sells poetry and came from PrestaShop. We built their store on Shopify with full book pages, author pages and a bilingual catalog. The theme comes out of that work — and it carries their name for a reason.
Visit yalodijocasimiroparker.com →The Centro Federico García Lorca had no online store and wanted to run it on their own from day one. We built it on Shopify: a catalog organized by collections, product pages that say more than the measurements, and sales in dollars for an international audience.

The theme is the same in both. What changes is who installs it.
Write to us and we’ll send you the theme in both styles, with its guide. You upload it to your Shopify, load your catalog and start selling.
We install it and adapt it to your brand inside your Shopify store: catalog, payments, shipping, languages. And we teach you to run it yourself.
