Parker Open · Food and drink
Parker Open is a Shopify theme created by Mister Mikel for stores selling specialty coffee, wine, olive oil, cheese and gourmet products: a page for every origin, farm or winery, with its story and everything that comes from there underneath, and a product page with variety, process, profile and format. It’s free if you install it yourself. And if you’d rather skip the wrestling, we set it up for you.
This may sound familiar
Most Shopify themes put a bag of coffee next to a bottle: name, price and a photo. And what makes that coffee worth what it’s worth gets left out.
Your customer doesn’t buy a bag. They buy the place it comes from.
The farm, the cooperative, the winery… It’s what sets your product apart, and the store has nowhere to tell it.
Variety, process, profile, harvest, what it goes well with. It doesn’t fit in a generic product page.
Three coffees from the same farm, the same story three times. Or not at all.
If they liked that origin, they want to see what else you have from there. And they can’t find it.
In Parker, the author. Here, the origin.
Coffee and wine in the same store? Each collection names its lead in its own way: “Origin” for coffee, “Winery” for wine.
What Parker Open brings for food
The farm or the winery at the top. The process, the visits or how to prepare it in a “More details” dropdown. Underneath, everything that comes from there.
Up to five fields with whatever label you want: variety, process, profile, format, goes well with. Plus type and harvest.
Whole-bean coffee, ground coffee, wine, olive oil, boxes. The catalog filters by type with no extra apps.
On every product page, everything else that comes from the same farm or winery.
Spanish and English with a language selector and a country/currency selector for selling outside Spain.
Adding a product or changing a price takes two minutes. On Shopify, without touching code. Two styles to choose from.
How it looks
A family farm made up for the demo. Its page tells who grows the coffee and at what altitude; under “More details”, how it’s processed and how to brew it. Underneath, its coffee, with variety, profile and format on each product page.
See Huila in the demo →In the same store, the wine hangs from its winery. Its page presents the vineyard, the underground cellar and the visits; underneath, its wines with variety, process, vintage and what they go well with.
See the winery in the demo →A store that brings small producers together: cheeses, olive oils, preserves. Each producer has a page with their story, and underneath everything they make. The customer comes back for the producer, not the category.
How to get it
The theme is the same either way. What changes is who installs it.
Write to us and we’ll send you the theme in both styles, with its guide. Upload it to your Shopify, load your catalog and start selling.
We install it and adapt it to your brand inside your Shopify store: origins, catalog, payments, shipping, languages. And we show you how to run it yourself.
