Parker Open · Art and galleries
Parker Open is a Shopify theme created by Mister Mikel for galleries, artists and stores selling prints and editions: a page for every artist, with their bio and all their work underneath, and a product page with technique, dimensions, support, edition and signature. It’s free if you install it yourself. And if you’d rather skip the wrestling, we set it up for you.
This may sound familiar
Most Shopify themes put one artwork next to another: title, price and a photo. No artist, no technique, none of what makes someone take a piece home.
People who buy art don’t buy an object. They buy the person who made it.
No bio, no background, no “all their work” in one place.
Technique, dimensions, support, edition, signed or not. It doesn’t fit in a generic product page.
The one-off piece and the reproduction on the same shelf. Each needs its own place.
Languages and currencies to reach Europe and Latin America without making a mess.
In Parker, the author. Here, the artist.
A gallery with exhibitions? Each exhibition can be a collection with its own page, and each artist gets theirs.
What Parker Open brings for art
Portrait, bio and background at the top. Exhibitions or statement in a “More details” dropdown. Underneath, all their work.
Up to five fields with whatever label you want: technique, dimensions, support, edition, signature. Plus type and year.
Original, print, limited edition, object. The catalog filters by type with no extra apps.
On every piece, the rest of what you have by the same artist, right underneath.
Spanish and English with a language selector and a country/currency selector for selling outside Spain.
Adding a product or changing a price takes two minutes. On Shopify, without touching code. Two styles to choose from.
How it looks
A painter made up for the demo. Her page tells how she works and how to commission a piece; underneath, two originals and a print, with technique, dimensions, support and signature on each product page.
See Ane Olano in the demo →Five screen prints by a printmaker, also made up. Here the lead is the series: its page explains the print run and the paper, and underneath are the first screen print and the complete portfolio.
See the series in the demo →A small gallery with ten artists. Each has a page with a bio and available work; each piece’s product page states technique, dimensions, support and whether it’s signed.
How to get it
The theme is the same either way. What changes is who installs it.
Write to us and we’ll send you the theme in both styles, with its guide. Upload it to your Shopify, load your catalog and start selling.
We install it and adapt it to your brand inside your Shopify store: artists, catalog, payments, shipping, languages. And we show you how to run it yourself.
